Carlos Diaz
Carlos Diaz is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Social Worker and Master Musician.
At age 13, Carlos left Puerto Rico for Hawaii to join the "Four Amigos." Elvis Presley hired them to perform the background music for two of his movies "Go, Go Girls" and "Fun In Acapulco." Five years later, realizing that he skipped a formal education, Carlos returned to his native island where he completed a B.A. in Flute Performance at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico founded by Pablo Casals. He completed a minor in Education at the University of Puerto Rico. In 1986, Carlos moved to New York City. He obtained a Masters Degree in the Arts at New York University. At Cornell University, he completed core training in the field of social work and continued his studies in geriatrics and social work at Hunter College.
Carlos was employed for ten years as a Music Instructor in the public Schools of Puerto Rico, New York City and Connecticut. He was an Adjunct Instructor at Touro College and New Rochelle College teaching English and Spanish. Currently, Carlos works for the Suffolk County Children & Family Services as a Social Worker. He continues his career as a Professional Musician.
As a Realtor, Carlos will utilize his education and life experiences in a positive way. He is multi-lingual. He plans to create a relationship of kindness and trust with his clients.
